ECRIN and CZECRIN to Hold Meetings in Prague during International Clinical Trials Day
International Clinical Trials Day is celebrated internationally on 20 May every year. The event commemorates the day that James Lind started his famous 1747 scurvy trial, and highlights the importance of clinical trial research to health care.
ECRIN (European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network) in cooperation with CZECRIN (Czech Clinical Infrastructure Network) is organising a two-day meeting in Prague, Czech Republic from May 19th to 20th, 2016. The first day will bring together internal stakeholders to discuss ECRIN’s and CZECRIN´s organisation, means of working, strategic development and related issues. A specific working session will also provide the opportunity to discuss with the Czech scientific community. The second day, which falls on International Clinical Trials Day, will include additional European and international stakeholders involved in clinical trials, top politicians and regulators and will focus on personalised medicine and the challenges of conducting multinational, independent clinical trials.
